Biography
International body and make-up artist, Clare Read has been working in the industry for over 15 years. Clare began her work as make-up artist in her native Australia under the tutorage of Richard Sharah. Her name as an artist truly blossomed when she arrived in London and NY.
Clare's aesthetic moves between body work to simple , organic make-up with an edge. Her understanding of skin and tones is renown by photographers for achieving skin that push beyond the boundaries of post production. "What i try to do is use the skin to its full potential : skin work can form the foundations of true beauty and art" .
Clare is based in London and works all over the world mainly in Paris and NY. When she is not working you can find her painting or playing drums.
